After graduating in 1984 from the London School Of Contemporary Dance and the Zurich Opera Ballet School in Switzerland, London born Pedro Sandiford became Principle Dancer with the Singen Dance Theatre in Germany.

He then moved back to Zurich where he reached the position of principle dancer as well, by dancing the lead role of Othello with Y. N. O. Dance Theatre. Thereafter, he became Head of Contemporary Dance at the Zurich Opera Ballet School. After dancing with the Zurich Opera Ballet in the Opera Aida, Pedro returned to London only to leave directly to take part in the Bi-Centennial celebration in Paris, where he danced with the British contingent which was choreographed by Lea Anderson.

His next destination was Cardiff, Wales where he joined the National Dance Company of Wales Diversions Dance Company. During his five year residence, Pedro won critical acclaim for his choreographic expertise.

Mr. Sandiford was commissioned by BBC Wales to choreograph and star in the award winning film Sunny Spells A Game For Optimists, directed by Paul Islwyn Thomas, and produced by Phil George. He thereafter went on to have successful choreographic opportunities with HTV and S4C Wales.
